“Fatahi Owolabi HAMZAT holds B. A in English, MSc and MPA in Public Administration, from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile, Ife, Osun State. In addition to these, he has PGD and MSc in Mass Communication, from the National Open University of Nigeria and he is on his doctoral degree journey in the same unique university where he is working on New Media and Fake News.

Fatahi did his National Youth Service in Radio Bayelsa, Ekeki, Yenagoa, as news reporter. Later, he worked with Nigerian Turkish International College, Abuja. He also worked with National Council for Arts and Culture as its Osogbo Zonal office Public Relations Officer before joining the National Open University of Nigeria.

Fatahi has been involving in active research, facilitating and supervising undergraduate students, in the communication area since he joined the university. Most of his works have been published in different journals.”
