Career Profile

As a professional teacher with a strong academic background in Political Science and Economics from the College of Education, I have had the privilege of teaching in various secondary schools.

I hold a BSc in Political Science and an MSc in Political Science with a specialisation in Political Economy and Development Studies. In my teaching career, I have taught Government along with Civic Education as my major subjects and Economics as my minor subject at the secondary school level. I was employed at the National Open University of Nigeria in 2020 as an Administrative Officer 1 but later converted to an academic staff member in the Department of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution in 2022.

Since then, I have drawn on my academic expertise and teaching experience to facilitate learning, research, and exploration in the Faculty of Social Sciences. I am about to complete my PhD program in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.
