Career Profile
Dr. Taiwo Philip Orebiyi is a senior lecturer at the Department of Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, Faculty of Social Science, National Open University of Nigeria.
He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. degree from the University of Ibadan in Peace and Conflict Studies, a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations from Lead City University in Ibadan, and a B.Ed. from the University of Ilorin in Educational Guidance and Counselling.
He was the former Acting Director, Academic Planning and Quality Assurance Unit at Southwestern University, Nigeria, and likewise a former coordinator and Head of Department, Peace and Development Studies Programme, Salem University Lokoja.
He has over ten years of teaching experience in Nigerian universities, including the National Open University of Nigeria.
He has published extensively in reputable research outlets and universities. He belongs to the Society for Peace Studies and Practice as a full member.
